Week 7: CALL ME INDIANA

“A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”  Proverbs 16:9

I (Nicole) have had many ponderings this past week...many only the Lord knew about.
Even though I already knew the answer, my heart was still quietly asking Daddy, “Will you catch me?” This faith journey that we are on has led us to continually step where we are unfamiliar and unable to rely on our own understanding. It’s like the blind walk of faith that Indiana Jones had to take in The Last Crusade (if you haven’t seen that scene, google it ... it’s pretty amazing).  We find ourselves closing our eyes and stepping off of cliffs blindly believing that Daddy will catch us. So, what did Daddy do for my quiet ponderings this past week? Yesterday, a friend delivered a letter that had been riding around in his car all week. When he had originally read it, he knew it was for us.  It was a letter from Ransomed Heart Ministries. In it, John Eldredge tells his own story of blind-faith walking and how the Lord came through each time.  As I read this letter, I could hear Daddy say, “I’ve got you!”  So, here I go, Daddy. Catch me!

Special focus: We are asking the Lord to separate our ideas from His.  Whose way do we want? His way!
