Week 5: SPARK

This week we’re making a departure from our devotional prayer focus and are going to be a bit more practical. 

I’m reminded of that old saying, “It only takes a spark to get a fire going.”  And so it is with Camp Refuge.  Nicole and I are just two people, and this vision is much too large to accomplish on our own. You are also just one. But when we come together, the heat really gets going. 

Here’s some of the sparks we’ve seen from you, our family and friends, over the last few months:  giving your hard-earned dollars to support the camp, getting excited and spreading the word to your church to see if they have use for our future offerings and letting us know, pushing a fundraiser idea ahead by envisioning the possibilities of corporate sponsors, and volunteering your time, energy, & talents to produce flyers. THANK YOU!  These sparks feel like a foretelling of the blaze to come.  It is so encouraging!
